Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of India Fire and Security Yatra 'IFSY' 2016, organised by India Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), he said, ''As a minister for education, I feel it will be important to introduce awareness about fire safety in curriculum along with awareness of traffic rules and Swachh Bharat. These issues which were not included in the curriculum in the past, deserved important position. Theywould be in routine curriculim in days to come.''
