NDMC provides 4000 steel twin bins in view of waste segregation at source

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) The New Delhi Municipal Corporation on Sunday provided around 4000 steel twin-bins of different color in view of waste segregation at source point.
These twin-bins (blue for dry waste and green for for wet waste) made of stainless steel have been put across markets, parks, gardens and other public areas across the NDMC areas and will stand at a distance of 50 to 100 meters for people visiting the area under the NDMC limit.
To ensure that the bins do not over-flow, timely cleaning is being done regularly by the safai sevaks of NDMC.
