NCPCR asks DM to submit report on alleged rape of girl in school

New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Ministry of Women and Child Development, has asked the district magistrate to investigate and submit a detailed report on the reported incident of a rape of 13-year old girl at an Ashram School, District Buldhana, Maharashtra within a week.
The commission also took cognisance of media reports on the alleged rape and sought a copy of the FIR, medical legal report and the statements recorded under section 164 Cr PC.
Besides, the commission has asked for information on action taken against the accused, the present status of the victim and action taken for safety of the child.
