Navi Mumbai Murder -- Three arrested

Thane, Sep 18 (UNI) With the arrest of three persons including those from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana the Navi Mumbai police claimed to have successfully detected the case of heinous murder that took place in July 2021 at APMC, Vashi the police said Saturday.
Addressing a news conference at Vashi the Divisional Commissioner of Police Division I Vashi, Suresh Mengde told newsmen that it was on July 29, 2021 an unidentified body with multiple stab wounds was found lying near a traders shop in APMC market. The police then sent the body for a postmortem and registered a case of Accidental death. After the received of the autopsy report which indicated multiple wounds on the body the police registered a case under section 302 rw 34 of the IPC and initiated a probe into the crime.
With no no clues available the police were groping in dark and scanned the CCTV footages around and with the intelligence and technical inputs could identify the victim as one Sandeep @ Bala Dashrath Pawar, 48 of Satara.
