Nashik: Sub-market premises set up at Trimbakeshwar for farmers

Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) A sub-market premises is being set up at Trimbakeshwar for farmers under Nashik Agricultural Produce Market Committee. Chhagan Bhujbal, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister, said that priority should be given to local farmers in allocating affordable housing or other facilities by fixing an affordable deposit in the building to be constructed in this premises.
He performed Bhumi Pujan of the 'Trimbakeshwar Sub Bazaar Premises' under Nashik Agricultural Produce Market Committee at Trimbakeshwar. Assembly Vice President Narhari Jirwal, ZP President Balasaheb Kshirsagar, MLA Hiraman Khoskar, MLA Saroj Ahire, Nashik Krishi Upan Bazar Samiti Chairman Devidas Pingale, Deputy Chairman Yuvraj Kothule, Mayor Purshottam Lohgaonkar, Trimbakeshwar Panchayat Samiti Chairman Motirao Dive, group members were also present.
Mr Bhujbal said that there is a large tribal community in Trimbakeshwar taluka and in future employment opportunities will be created for the tribal community through this yard. Therefore, the Agricultural Produce Market Committee should provide the opportunity to sell to the growing farmers. Also, due to this market yard, the farmers of this taluka will get rid of the big problem of milling and their goods will be sold at the local level only, Bhujbal said.
