Nashik: Female GST officer in ACB net for bribery

Nashik, Sep 21 (UNI) A female GST officer was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for accepting a bribe of Rs 4000 on Wednesday.
ACB sources reveal that Snehal Thakur (52), a corrupt female GST officer, resides near Ashwin Hotel and Ashwin Sankul Row House in Nashik.
The complainant had applied to the office of the Business Tax Officer on September 13 to cancel the business tax of his company, Kalpdeep Industrial Security Services, which had been closed for two years.

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) Eight people died and sixty-three people were injured in an incident in the Ghatkopar area of Mumbai where a large hoarding fell at a petrol pump station, and in the Wadala area, a multi-story, vertical steel parking lot crashed on a main road in the aftermath of a massive dust storm that shrouded the city for over two hours. Bombay Municipal Corporation Disaster Control said.
