Naomi Osaka wins Australian Open final

Melbourne, Jan 26 (UNI) Naomi Osaka beat the Czech Petra Kvitova 7-6 (2) 5-7 6-4 to win her first Australian Open final here on Saturday.
It was her second consecutive grand slam title.
With this win, Japanese player jumped three points and became the world number one player after Simona Halep of Romania.
Last September, Osaka cried, when the crowd booed after a controversial US Open final in which Serena Williams lost her cool.
She is the first woman to follow her first grand slam title by immediately winning the next one since Jennifer Capriati in 2001 and the first since Serena in 2015 to win two slams in a row.
Japanese player jumped three places in the ranking with this title win and became the world's number one player by overthrowing Simona Halep of Romania.
