Nanded division of South Central Railway sets up Business Development Unit to scale up freight loading

Nanded, Jul 8 (UNI) The Nanded division of South Central Railway (SCR) has set up a Business Development Unit (BDU) as per Railway Boards guidelines to scale up freight loading.
The BDU, apart from working on increasing conventional freight loading like onion, sugar, dry oil cake, maize, etc., would also focus on bringing non-conventional traffic like non-bulk goods, etc into railway freight basket.
Senior Divisional Operations manager A Shridhar will be the convener with the Senior Divisional Commercial manager P Diwakar Babu, Senior Divisional Finance manager Udaynath Kotala and senior Divisional Mechanical engineer Shaikh Mohammad Anees will be the members of the committee.
