Naidu decries 'forcible OTS collections' by AP government

Naidu decries 'forcible OTS collections' by AP government

Vijayawada, Nov 3 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party National President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday slammed the YSRCP Government for resorting to 'forcible OTS collections' from the poor beneficiaries for houses built since the NT Rama Rao regime.
Mr.Naidu said the DWCRA groups were being asked to give loans to make OTS payments, which would lead to severe harassment like in the case of 'call money' rackets. They would come straight to houses and start extortions. The poor families were going to be subjected to all sorts of problems in the next two and half years.
The TDP chief spoke as chief guest at the International Disability Day celebrations held here in the presence of disabled persons. He deplored that the YCP regime did not hesitate to cut the Rs 3,000 social pensions even for the differently abled persons. The officials were using pretexts like current bills, assets, assets and so on to withdraw the benefit. What kind of leader is this CM to do such things?
