Nagaland lone JD (U) Minister merges with ruling NDPP

Kohima,Jun 26 (UNI) The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) today welcomed the “official merger” of the Janata Dal (U), Nagaland.
According to an official statement from the NDPP media and communication committee stated that the Nagaland JD (U) under the leadership of State Agriculture Minister, G Kaito Aye along with the State Executive Members, office bearers and former candidates joined the ruling party in the presence of the Nagaland State Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio; NDPP President, Chingwang Konyak and other senior leaders at Kohima.
“The members of the JD (U) led by Minister Kaito decided to officially merge with the NDPP in order to strengthen the PDA Government in Nagaland and also further uphold and expedite the ongoing Framework Agreement,” it stated.
