Muslims begins Ramzan fasting in Kerala

Kozhikode, Jun 6 (UNI) Muslims across Kerala began holy month of Ramzan today.
Religious leaders, including Panakkad Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal and Samastha Kerala Jem-Yathul Ulema, Prof K Alikkutty Musaliyar announced the beginning of month-long fasting after sighting cresent moon at Kappad in the district.
Ramzan fasting for 29 or 30 days concludes with celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
