Mother and her daughter drowned while fetching water for washing cloths

Belagavi, Nov 27 (UNI) A 45 year-old Mother and her 20 year-old daughter drowned in a open well at Kamathanur gaye cross in Hulkeri taluk of the District in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased were identified as Bharathi Late Manohar Kathe and her 20 year- old daughter Shridevi Kamathe.
The victims had been to the well for washing cloths. Shridevi entered the well to fetch water but accidentally fell into water and drowned, her mother Bharathi rushed to rescue her daughter but she also met watery grave. Another daughter, who saw them going to the well waited for their return, but they when they did not return she went to the well and found the mother's body floating.
