Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 29 2016 8:29PM Moratorium imposed in Chandrapur area under CEPI liftedNagpur, May 29 (UNI) The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has lifted moratorium under the Comprehensive Environmental Pollution Index (CEPI), in respect of the industrial cluster of MIDC area of Chandrapur, Tadali, Ghuggus, Ballapur of Maharashtra.According to an official statement of PIB, the step will enable new investments in the region, which was stalled for last more than 5 years. The Ministry had imposed moratorium in 43 CEPI areas on January 13, 2010. The CPCB conducted monitoring in Critically Polluted Areas (CPA) of Chandrapur in Maharashtra during the month of February and March this year and re-assessed the CEPI score and informed MoEFCC about the revised CEPI score.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Moratorium imposed in Chandrapur area under CEPI lifted
