Ahmedabad, Aug 13 (UNI) Monsoon remained in a 'break' mode in Gujarat for the third consecutive day on Tuesday with only seven talukas witnessed rain till evening, with Bhavnagar getting maximum of 26 mm of rainfall.
In the last 24 hours, only 47 talukas of 22 districts had seen rain with highest 23mm in Bhavnagar.
Meanwhile, met department has predicted heavy rain for Wednesday and heavy to very heavy rain for the Independence day.
Though there is no rain in last three days, various roads, including Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar highway and several rural roads, were still damaged and non-operational due to the heavy rain in Kutch and other areas.
