Mobile internet suspended, GDC, HSS suspended class work in Handwara

Srinagar, Sep 11 (UNI) The mobile internet service and class work in Government Degree College (DGC) and Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) was suspended as a precautionary measure in Handwara in Kupwara, where two militants were killed by security forces in an encounter early Tuesday morning.
The district administration on Tuesday directed all Cellular companies, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to suspend mobile internet service as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of any rumours following the killing of two militants.
The administration has also ordered suspension of class work today in GDC Handwara and all Higher Secondary Schools of Mawar and Langate zones as a precautionary measure.
