Among the various departments the PWD has the highest dues with Rs189 lakhs to be paid as medical bills. According to an RTI document furnished by the finance department, out of 44 departments in the Mizoram government, 14 departments have unpaid medical bills of more than rupees 10 lakhs, while some departments have no dues at all.
