Minister praised BSF for dedicated service: IG emphasised more cordial relationship to curb border-crime

Ambassa (Tripura), Sep 11(UNI) Tripura Minister has highly praised the dedicated service of Border Security Force (BSF) to the people and country while the Inspector General (IG) of BSF for Tripura Frontier has emphasised on more cordial relationship between the jawans and civilians while delivering speeches in a weapon display and civic action programme in the town hall in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here last afternoon.
In the programme, BSF IG Hemant Kumar Lohia has asserted that, the civic action programme is a part of the endeavour of BSF to set up more cordial relationship with civilians. And the weapon display is a measure to show a glimpse of the strength of BSF as well to attract the young generation to be a part of the great force.
Minister Manoj Kanti Deb has highly praised the dedicated service of BSF for whose untiring effort we sleep well and pass happy days. He has urged the civilians to keep friendly and healthy relation with the jawans.

Three militants including the top most local wanted commander Basit Dar of the “The Resistance Front' (TRF), an organisation believed to be a shadow outfit of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba, were killed on Tuesday in a gun battle at Redwani Payeen Kulgam
Sources said a joint team of security forces established a fresh contact with a hiding militant on Wednesday during continued searches at Redwani Payeen area of Kulgam as they had inputs about three militants in the house and out of them two were killed on Tuesday.
