Mexico's Navy says 3 Mexican soldiers killed, 2 missing in Navy helicopter crash

Mexico City, Mar 7 (UNI) Three Mexican soldiers have been killed, three have been injured, and another two are missing as a result of a crash of the Mexican Navy's AS565 Panther helicopter in the Gulf of Mexico, the Mexican Navy said in a release.

"The causes of this accident are yet unknown. There have been eight Navy servicemen aboard, of whom three have been rescued. They are in stable health and are being transported to a port for specialised medical attention. Unfortunately, three of them (two women and one man) have died and two others are missing, for which reason search operations are underway," the Mexican Navy said on Wednesday.
