New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Aiming to provide end to end academic solutions to senior secondary students, MentorYes will organise an open seminar on undergraduate opportunities at India International Centre in national capital on June 5.
A proper guidance relating to course curricula and potential career options would be given to the students of class 11 and 12 in the seminar, the company said in a statement.
Fifteen speakers, including professors, deans and principals from JNU, DU, Ambedkar University will participate in the event and guide the students for their career prospects.
Sessions would focus on the different course options, their content, aptitude match and future study and work opportunities. The panel would also address the queries of the students.
“We often find students opting for courses without knowing exactly what they entail. I have personally touched base with over a hundred students in the past few months and an overwhelming majority of them indicated not being happy with their current choice of courses. What is missing is the big picture linking students’ longer term aspirations with their current study paths. One cannot merely look at an investment of 3-4 years in isolation – and the unfortunate truth is that there aren’t enough avenues addressing this bigger picture. MentorYes is trying to bridge this gap through this Seminar and its other mentorship programme,” said Deepak Hariharan, Founder and CEO of MentorYes.
MentorYes connect students and young professionals to the right mentors to address queries on academics, admissions, jobs and more, the company added.
The company was established by IIM and LSE alumni in March 2016.
