MeltingPot2020 Innovation Summit 2017 from tomorrow

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (UNI) The two-day Second MeltingPot2020 Innovation Summit-2017 will be held at Trident Hotel from tomorrow.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, CL Educate Chairman R Satyanarayana said that MeltingPot2020 is the only platform in the region enabling collaboration, networking and knowledge share between the various stakeholders in the innovation eco-system to catalyze the transformation of the region into a global innovation hub.
He said CL Educate, Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH), TiE Hyderabad and T-Hub will sign an Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with premier institutions such as IIT-Bubneswhar, IIT-ISM Dhanbad, IIIT-Bangalure, IIT Kalyani, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, Corporates from both private and public sectors, start-ups such as Tech-Tailor, Rygbee and among others during the summit.
These MoUs are in the realm of capacity building in Institutions of India, providing research fellowships & scholarships, raising funds from corporates or angels, investors, and start-ups, patent and intellectual property management, mentoring and go-to-market and commercialization, he said.
“ In what is probably one of the biggest collaborations between Industry and academia, Cl Educate and T-Hub will sign a MoU with a leading public enterprise to work with 30 leading science and engineering colleges in Hyderabad and Telangana region to enable research and innovation inside the campus by investing its CSR funds of Rs 2.5 crore”, he said.
TiE Hyderabad President Pradeep Mittal said, “As an organization committed to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Telangana. TiE Hyderabad is happy to collaborate with MeltingPot2020 to deepen and enrich the potential connect with innovators and entrepreneurs. In collaboration with Worldwide Academia-Industry Network (WAIN) and CL Educate we also wish to introduce and enlarge the TYE and TiE Grade program in schools in Telangana over the next 3 years.”
Mr Satyanarayana said in the first edition of MeltingPot2020 held at New Delhi 1800 industry and institution leaders had participated. Now we are expecting about 13000 industry and institution leaders participants. MeltingPot 2020 aimed to achieve one million by 2020, he added.
