Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 11 2016 10:52PM Meghalaya CM reviews law & order in Garo Hills after Saturday's blastShillong, Jan 11 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma today reviewed the law and order situation in view of Saturday's Improvised Electronic Device (IED) blast in Williamnagar, the district headquarters of East Garo Hills. During the meeting, Dr Sangma stressed on the need for effective preventive measures with the active involvement of the people and issue appropriate advisories to all concerned so that any unattended baggages or any suspicious movement of suspected militants/criminals can be brought to the notice of the police and police to have dedicated quick response teams. The meeting was attended by Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Inspector General of Police in-charge Western Range, F D Sangma, Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) G H P Raju and Superintendents of Police from five districts of Garo Hills.
