Medical College Hospitals to be opened in all districts of Bihar: Nitish

Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said that the state government would try to open Medical College Hospital in every district of Bihar.
Kumar while inaugurating the newly constructed building and premises of Bihar State Mental Health and Related Science Institute at Koilwar in Bhojpur district, said that the new mental hospital would be helpful to those seeking treatment for their mental illness. It would not only be useful for mental patients of Bihar but for other states as well, he added.
" The newly constructed Mental hospital would be of 272-bed hospital and has been presently started with capacity of 180 beds", Chief Minister said, adding that the rest work to ensure its operational with full capacity would be completed in next three months. All facilities had been provided so that doctors could discharge their duties properly, he further said and added if needed, more doctors and para-medical staff would also be appointed.
