Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 27 2017 11:00PM Mary Kom, Sridevi and Poonam Dhillon participate in Doctor's congressAhmedabad, Jan 27 (UNI) Five time world champion woman boxer and Rajya Sabha MP MC Mary Kom, who has also won an Olympic medal, yesteryears' superstar Sridevi and Poonam Dhillon participated in the inaugural session of the 60th all India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology of the Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).The congress is being hosted by Ahmedabad Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society at Gujarat University and Convention Centre. The three-day congress is to be concluded on January 29. Several hundred doctors from across the country are taking part in it.On the occasion of inauguration yesterday, Mary Kom said, “Coming from a small village in Manipur where we have very basic women’s health care and not many doctors. I am very impressed with the new initiative of the FOGSI – Nari Swasthy Pahal that will help thousands of women with better health care given by the best doctors from across the country.
