Marathwada region reported 647  fresh cases during the past 24 hours,

Aurangabad, Mar 2 (UNI) Intensity of positive corona virus cases seen severe in eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported 647 fresh cases during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Tuesday .
However,the authorities also reported that eight patients of corona positive were succumbed during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI show that out of the eight districts of the region are,Aurangabad district recorded 225 cases and 3 deaths followed by Nanded registered 90 new cases and 2 deaths ,Latur had 41 new cases and 2 deaths ,Parbhani had 28 cases and single deaths,
Jalna had 178 cases ,Beed had 52 cases,Hingoli had 24 cases and Osmanabad registered 8 new cases.
Meanwhile,seven-days total curfew was enforce in Hingoli district from yesterday.
As per official data, 6,397 more corona cases and 30 deaths were reported from across the state during the past 24 hours, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 21,61,467.

Meanwhile, 5,754 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals during the same period across the state, taking the total number of recoveries so far in Maharashtra to 20,30,458.
With this, the state's recovery rate has now goes down and stand to 93.94 per cent as well as and the death rate stand at 2.41 per cent.
According to the health officials, so far, a total of 52,184 patients have succumbed to the disease in the state and more than 77,618 active patients are currently under treatment in Maharashtra.
