Marathwada region registers 432 fresh nCoV cases, 15 deaths

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 20 (UNI) Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported at least 432 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours in all the eight districts combined, authorities said on Tuesday.
The districts also witnessed 15 more corona-related deaths during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region, Nanded was the worst affected with 101 fresh cases and 5 fatalities, followed by Jalna with 27 new cases and 4 deaths, Aurangabad 113 cases and 2 deaths,Latur 46 cases and 2 deaths, Beed with 73 cases with one death, Osmanabad 42 new cases 1 death,Parbhani 22 cases and Hingoli 9 cases.
Meanwhile, 5,984 more corona cases and 125 deaths were reported across the state during the same period.
With this, the state tally mounted to 16.01 lakh, of them 13.84 lakh were cured and 42,240 were succumbed so far.
While at present, 1.73 lakh patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals and Covid care centers.
