New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Colonel of Maratha Light Infantry Regiment Lt Gen PJS Pannu on Monday felicitated the participants of Mt Kun expedition team for their successful completion of scaling the highest peak in the Kargil area of Jammu and Kashmir.
The expedition was flagged off from Pune on July 17 aiming at commemoration of 250 years of its raising.
“As the symbol of what Maratha Regiment or Maratha soldier do we have just summited the expedition – the highest peak in the Kargil area and that area of-course is full of challenges, repeat with example of valour,” Lt Gen Pannu told UNI.
