Mandya dist in-Charge Minister to be invited to hold talks over release of water from KSR reservior, Kabin Dam: Somashekar

Mysuru, Jul 11 (UNI) District In-charge Minister S T Somashekar expressed his happiness that reservoirs in the region have been fast filling up due to copious rainfall in catchment areas.
Speaking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that Mandya District-in Charge Minister K.C. Narayanagowda will be invited for the meeting to be held next week in the city regarding release of water from KRS (the reservoir is located in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district) and Kabini Dam in canals for irrigation purposes.
He was presiding over a meeting at the ZP Hall here this morning to review the readiness of the district for farming activities during the monsoon season.
