Man trapped in overflowing river for 20 hours, rescued by NDRF

Simdega, Oct 5 (UNI) A man who was trapped in the overflowing waters of the Koyel river under Bano Police Station area of this district for more than 20 hours was rescued on Monday by a team of NDRF.
The man identified as Wilson Maski had gone to catch fish in the river on Sunday evening when the water level was low. Suddenly it started raining heavily in the area due to which the river got flooded and he got trapped.
To save his life Wilson stood on a rock throughout the night the family members, villagers and police camped at the spot. On Monday a team of NDRF from Ranchi reached the spot and rescued the man much to the relief of very one.
