Man dies after casting vote at polling booth in Borio of Sahebganj

Sahebganj/Jamtara Dec 20 (UNI) A man in his mid-sixties died after casting his vote at booth number 149 in Chas village under Borio Assembly area of the district.

The deceased has been identified as Saryu Sah (65).After exercising his right early in the morning he came out and fell down. He was immediately rushed to Borio community health care center where he was declared dead by the doctors.

Sources said that due to excessive cold the old man died. However, family members said that he was absolutely fine when he went out to vote in the morning.

Meanwhile, in Jamtara a police constable identified as Sureshwar Singh (50) died on poll duty due to cardiac arrest. He hailed from Hajipur district of Bihar.
