Aurangabad/Mumbai, May 23 (UNI) Maharashtra reported 326 fresh cases of Covid-19 and one related death across the state, according to the health bulletin on Monday.

With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,82,802 and the death toll to 1,47,855.

Meanwhile, 251 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,33,043.
The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate to 1.87 per cent .

Presently, 1,903 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the state.

So far 8,07,22,623 swab samples have been tested till date, of them 78,82,802 (9.77 percent) tested positive across the state, the bulletin added

Meanwhile, no new Covid cases was reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region of state, the bulletin further added.
