Maha: NCP (SP) joins Opposition to criticise PM's campaign speech

Mumbai, Apr 22 (UNI) The NCP (SP) on Monday joined other Opposition parties in the country to criticise the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during campaign meetings in Rajasthan.
In a press statement, NCP-SP state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase expressed dismay over PM's speech, saying that there can be nothing more unfortunate than the fact that a person sitting in the highest position of the country had to use the issue of Hindu-Muslim for electoral gains.
Modi, whose government has completely failed to resolve pressing problems of inflation, unemployment, farmers' problems and other issues, is making such statements out of desperation only to cover up failures of his own government and also because he is staring at defeat in this election, he claimed.
