Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Atul Londhe on Thursday demanded to cancel the candidature of Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena for alleged violation of the model code of conduct.
In a letter addressed to the State Election officer, he alleged that since start of the Lok Sabha election campaign, the ruling BJP and Shiv Sena have repeatedly violated model code of conduct and the Congress party has also filed a formal complaint about it with the Election Commission.
Now, once again, a similar situation has come to light, he said.
