Mah Polls: Kolhapur to issue duplicate voter IDs to flood-hit people

Kolhapur, Sep 21 (UNI) A total of 30,90,660,including 15,84,271 males and 15,06,308 females,besides 81 others find their names on the electoral rolls of the 10 assembly constituencies of this disrict,informed Collector Daulat Desai.
As the Model Code of Conduct(MCC) kicked in from Saturday afternoon,the Collector addressed the mediapersons to inform about the preparations being done for the October 21 polls.
He said as a first step,all the office bearers of the Zilla Parishad and civic bodies have been asked to surrender the government vehicles with immediate effect.
