Mah: Auto driver held in theft case

Thane , Sep 18 (UNI) With the arrest of a 22 year-old auto rickshaw driver the Thane city police on Friday claimed to have detected the theft of a number of motorbikes.
Senior PI Ashok Pawar of the Khadakpada police station under Kalyan division said acting on a tip off, a motorbike thief was to arrive near a school at Ambivili laid a trap and nabbed one Siddharth alias Vikki Suresh Kamble, a auto rickshaw driver, resident of Sahad of Kalyan.
During the interrogation it was revealed that he along with four of his associates had stolen as many as 16 two-wheelers valued at around Rs seven lakhs.
