BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. is now the owner of a hotel earlier managed by the I.T.D.C. and situated within a posh area in the vicinity of this city’s exquisite Upper Lake replete with natural beauty.
A share transfer agreement pertaining to the three-star Hotel Lake View Ashok, spread over approximately 7 acres at Shyamla Hills, was inked on June 29 in the national capital in the presence of state Secretary (Tourism) and M.P.S.T.D.C. M.D. H.R. Rao, Company Secretary S. Yashlawa and the hotel’s G.M. A. Gajrani.
Earlier taking the initiative, Chief Minister S.S. Chouhan penned a missive to the Centre in the hotel’s context. Mr. Chouhan, M.o.S. for Culture and Tourism S. Patwa and M.P.S.T.D.C. Chairman T. Bhowmik extended their best wishes.
