ParliamentPosted at: Jan 9 2019 10:04PM Longer debate on Quota Bill in RS than in LSNew Delhi, Jan 09 (UNI) Debate on the new reservation bill in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday is set to be much longer and more diversified than in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.The Constitution (124) Amendment Bill, 2019 was passed in the Lok Sabha and is being discussed in the Rajya Sabha for approval. While the debate time agreed upon in the Upper House is eight hours, it was only four hours and 55 minutes in LS, which has more than double the strength of RS.
