LIC introduces 'Agent Portability'

Thane, Aug 25 (UNI) Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) today launched 'Agent Portability',after the success of Mobile Number Portability (MNP). The Senior Divisional Manager of LIC, Thane Division, Puneet Kumar said in a press conference that, in case if they have any issues with service provided by the agent they are now given an option to change the agent. For changing the agent, they need to follow a simple procedure. This will help to reduce the cases of lapsed policies. He also introduced the new Endowment Plus policy, which was recently launched by LIC. Last year, the division added a total of 2,70,656 policies and the first premium collected during the same period was of Rs 445 crores, he added. UNI XR RB AE AS1519
