Puducherry, Jan 17 (UNI) Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi has condoled the death of BJP legislator (nominated) K G Shankar who died at his residence due to cardiac arrest on Sunday.
In her message, Dr Bedi expressed her heartfelt condolences in the “sudden and untimely” death of K G Shankar, MLA and Treasurer of BJP Puducherry unit.
He was a modest personality and disciplined soldier of BJP, she said and added that by his affable nature, principled stand and down to earth personality he was able to reach out to the grassroot workers of the party and the people of Puducherry at large.
