Lee Pharma develops new herbal formula for Psoriasis treatment

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Lee Health Domain,a group company of Lee Pharma Ltd, has developed a new formula with 100 per cent Herbal Topical Solution for the treatment of Psoriasis under the brand name of 'Lesoris'.
Lesoris Ointment is targeted to get relief of Itching, Irritation, Redness, Scaling associated with Psoriasis and all types of Psoriasis, Hyderabad base pharmaceutical company claimed in a statement here on Friday.
Lesoris Ointment is made available with 50 Grams tube and released in the market for online selling.
Lee Health Domain developed a new Formula with a blend of Herbals for which the technical information extracted from the scriptures of ''Charaka Samhita the oldest (2500 Years) and Ancient authoritative writings in Ayurveda'', it said.
Psoriasis is a long-lasting, non-contagious autoimmune disease and the five main types of psoriasis are -- plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular, and erythrodermic.
These areas are typically red, or purple on some people with darker skin, dry, itchy, and scaly., Hyderabad based pharmaceuticals company said in a release here.
Psoriasis affects people of all ages, and in all countries.
The reported prevalence of Psoriasis in countries ranges between 0.09 per cent and 11.43 per cent and it is a serious global problem with at least 10 crores individuals affected world wide., it said.
With a prevalence of 0.44-2.8 per cent in India. Seven out of 10 Psoriasis patients face social discrimination.
