Lack of faith in state agencies has forced Lokayukta to seek CBI probe into tablet-PC scam: Congress

Panaji, Feb 18 (UNI) The Congress in Goa on Monday claimed that recommendation by Lokayukta in an alleged tablet-PC procurement scam which took place in 2013 was due to lack of faith in state investigating agencies.
Addressing a press conference at party state headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar said, ''By recommending a CBI probe into the fraudulent tablet-PC procurement, Goa Lokayukta has indicated, that he has no faith in the credentials of the state anti-corruption agencies.''
