L&T bags various contracts

Mumbai, Sept 14 (UNI)L&T Construction on Monday said that it was awarded (Significant) Contracts for its various businesses.
The contracts include to design and Build Lump sum Turnkey contract.
It involves the construction of a Grade-A office space in two locations in Bangalore, with a total built up area of two million sq ft with three basements, ground and 13 floors configuration, a statement said.
The project would be a Gold LEED certified As a part of the sustainable and green design initiative.
The Water and Effluent Treatment business has been awarded a contract to provide surface-based bulk drinking water supply to Jalandhar town on design, build, operate and transfer basis by the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board. Project is a part of Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme.
The project would provide safe and potable bulk drinking water and will help convert existing ground-based water supply system in the town to a surface-based system. Designed to cater safe and potable bulk drinking water to Jalandhar benefitting 13.8 lakh population and will help convert existing ground-based water supply system in the town to a surface-based system.
The Geo Structure business has won orders to construct Down and Up Lines (Package 1 & 2) of a bypass grade separator in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh.
It involves constructing about 2800 piles, pile caps, piers, pier caps, superstructure, embankment with retaining walls, the statement added.
