Kuwait's leading low cost airline Jazeera Airways starts Direct flight to Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low cost airline, operating regionally and internationally, has started its operations from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday Andrew Ward, VP Marketing & Customer Experience of the airways said ''Ahmedabad is the second of three new routes currently planned in India, following the launch of flights in India from Hyderabad in November 2017.
Flights will operate initially three days a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
He said that now Jazeera has become only the second airlines after Kuwait Airways to have direct flights between Kuwait and Ahmedabad.
''We have chosen Ahmedabad as our second destination for direct flight in India also because Gujarat has a sizeable Muslim population of around 10 per cent. They frequently visit gulf countries as well as Iran and Iraq for pilgrimages,'' he said.

Flying to over 20 destinations across the Middle East, Europe and India, Jazeera Airways operates a reliable fleet of 8 Airbus A320 aircrafts with new cabin interiors. Passengers can have a baggage allowance of 30kg for Economy class and 50kg for Business class.
