Kumaon Literary Festival set to host many Pakistani speakers

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Unperturbed by unrest in Kashmir and the developments following the deadly Uri terror attack, several eminent Pakistani speakers from literary fraternity will be participating in the Second edition of Kumaon Literary Festival (KLF) beginning on October 11 on the foothills of Himalayas.
Many speakers like Afia Aslam, Ali Akbar Natiq, Ameena Saiyid, Asif Farrukhi, Asif Noorani, Dr Sabyn Javeri, Mohsin Sayeed from Pakistan are expected to attend the festival, a statement issued by the organisers of the KLF said.
The festival, a flagship initiative of NHP Centre, which will conclude October 15 is the first annual international “retreat” and “travelling” literature festival of the country.
