KPCC expels party functionaries in Karnataka for working against H D Devegowda

Bengaluru, Apr 20 (UNI) Taking disciplinary action for working against the Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate, H D Deve Gowda, the KPCC has expelled two block Congress presidents in Tumakuru district.
In a press release on Saturday, the KPCC General Secretary V Y Ghorpade said that following a complaint received form the District Congress Committee, Tumakuru, the KPCC had expelled R Rajagopala, and M S Mallikarjunaiah, the Madhugiri Taluk Block President and Madhugiri Rural Block president, respectively.
The DCC had recommended to take disciplinary action against two leaders, for not supporting the Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate and former Prime Minister, H D Deve Gowda, in the Tumakuru Lok Sabha seat.
