Kohli, Pujara, Ashwin hit half centuries as India post 271-6

Mohali, Nov 27 (UNI) With captain Virat Kohli (62), Cheteshwar Pujara (51) and Ravichandran Ashwin (57 batting) slamming half centuries, opener-wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel and Ravindra Jadeja making a valuble contribution of 42 and 31 not out, respectively, India posted 271 for 6 in 84 overs at close of play on day two in the third Test against England at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium here today.
India were trailing by 12 runs with four wickets in hand in their first innings.
Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja (batting 31) bolstered the Indian innings with an unbroken 67-run seventh wicket stand.
