Kher's comments about Kashmiri Muslims should be seen in isolation: Nath

Srinagar, May 4 (UNI) Disagreeing with Bollywood actor Anupam Kher’s aggressive comments about Kashmir Muslims, veteran actor Alok Nath said his (Anupam’s) remarks should be seen in isolation and not considered as the views of the citizens of the rest of the country.
“It is his personal views. He has political bent towards this. It is his personal views and it should not be generalized, it should be seen in isolation,” he said while responding to a question about Kher’s alleged aggression towards Kashmiri people on the anniversary of the migration of Kashmir Pandits.
He, however, said Kher should be allowed to express his views freely. “Lot has been talked about freedom of expressing and freedom of thoughts. So he should be allowed to express his views.
But, disagreeing with Kher, he said personally ‘I don’t agree with his point of view’.
“An actor should not involve himself in political issues to this extent. Our profession is very sensitive and one should remain away from political,” he said.
