Khattar govt wrote letter to EC to conspire postponement of Jind bypoll: Tanwar

Jind, Oct 17 (UNI) Haryana Congress President Dr Ashok Tanwar has charged the Khattar government for postponing Jind bye-election and said this is for the first time in the history of Haryana that any a government is degrading the grace of democratic process.
Stating this while joining the Congress workers sitting at dharna here demanding bye-election, Dr Tanwar said that the state government has written a letter to the Election Commission that the government was not ready for Jind bye-election. The Khattar government is afraid of the exposure of its failure before the people.
Asking for an answer from Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, he said, "you are the representative of the people, but in place of coming upto expectations of the people of Haryana, you are acting like a remote-control representative of Nagpur."
