Kochi, Sep 18 (UNI) Kerala Higher Education Minister K T Jaleel has not provided satisfactory replies to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with import of religious texts from abroad.
The Minister did not responded properly to the questions on why he did not inform the Central government or whether he had secured prior permission for the import of religious texts, sources said on Friday.
Mr Jaleel did not provide a satisfactory response when NIA asked him whether he followed protocol when contacting the UAE Consulate.
