Kerala Financial Corporation raises Rs 250 crore from debt market

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 31 (UNI) Kerala-based leading financial institution, Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC), has successfully raised Rs 250 crore from the debt market at 8.69 per cent by issuing Non SLR Bonds of Rs 125 crore with a green shoe option of Rs 125 crore.
KFC took advantage of the favourable market conditions on the credit market to optimise its average cost of funding and lengthen the average maturity of its debt. The bonds were rated AA(SO) by two RBI / SEBI approved rating agencies with stable outlook for investment.
Since 2011, KFC has been issuing bonds and this is the fifth successful launch which underlines the confidence and trust of investors in the credit quality of KFC.
