Kakinada: Social activist Krishna Priya appointed POSH member

Kakinada, June 1(UNI) Social activist and member of Kalpakam Yechuri Mahila salkti sangham Beera Krishna Priya has been appointed as a member of the committee on preventive of sexual harassment (POSH). The committee functions as an affilIate of Indian Institute of foreign trade(IIFT).
The government has appointed Professor Sujatha Kar as the chairperson of the six-member committee .
Krishna Priya was given the berth on behalf of the non governmental organisations on the recommendation of MP Vanga Geeta and city MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy. UNI XC SSP

Hyderabad: Task force busts International smartphone snatching gang

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UN) The sleuths of the commissioner’s Task Force of South zone team here have busted an International Smartphone snatching and smuggling gang by arresting 17 accused persons including 5 Sudanese nationals
The Taskforce team along with Bandlaguda Police has busted an International SmartPhones Smuggling & Snatching Gang and recovered stolen property worth Rs 1.75 crore from the accused, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy said in a press conference here on Friday.
